We are happy to announce that Project Starfish has treated the first group of 10 dogs for heartworm in Alexandria, LA. This means that after an appropriate rest period, these dogs can be transported out of Louisiana and into foster/adoptive homes as appropriate. Who knows, maybe one will end up in your house!
